How to Flag Citation Readers or Nominees on the Attendance Page
The day of a high profile Event or Award is often very busy and processes need to be efficient in order for the day to run smoothly.
The Events platform enables Admins to mark certain Guests as either Citation Readers or Nominees, which will surface on the Attendance page and assist event staff with knowing when the show or Event can begin.
How to Mark a Guest as Citation Reader or Nominee
- Log in to the Admin interface of Events.
- An Event must first be created, please follow these steps.
- Select Events from the header tabs.
- Select Events from the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to the respective Event.
- Hover over the Actions menu on the left hand side.
- Select Guest List from the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to respective Guest.
- Hover over the Actions menu and select either Flag as Nominee or Citation Reader.
- Please note, the same actions can be followed to unmark a Guest as one of the above.
How to View Citation Readers and Nominees on the Attendance page
- Log in to the Admin interface of Events.
- An Event must first be created, please follow these steps.
- Select Events from the header tabs.
- Select Events from the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to the respective Event.
- Hover over the Actions menu on the left hand side.
- Select Attendance page from the drop-down menu. This will present the Attendance page of the Event.
- Here Admins can view which Guests are flagged as Citation Readers or Nominees, and use the column headers to bring them to the top of the page.
Tip – this can assist Admins with knowing when the Production team can start the show or Event, by cross checking relevant guest’s attendance data.
Note – the Citation Reader / Nominee columns will only show on the Attendance page if in use.
How to Add Nominated Categories
- Log in to the Admin interface of Events.
- An Event must first be created, please follow these steps.
- Select Events from the header tabs.
- Select Events from the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to the respective Event.
- Hover over the Actions menu on the left hand side.
- Select Attendance page from the drop-down menu. This will present the Attendance page of the Event.
- Navigate to the far right column titled Nominated Category.
- Navigate to the respective Guest.
- Select Edit in the Nominated Category column and input the relevant information.
- Click off of the textbox to Save.
