How to Bulk Update Ticket Designs by Ticket Type
At high-profile Events, efficient Attendee management is crucial. While the current Events system allows Ticket Templates to be assigned based on Ticket Type, this is not flexible enough for groups such as Nominees, Press, and Members, who may require distinct ticket designs regardless of their Ticket Type. To streamline check-in and ensure a smooth entry process, Admins need the ability to assign specific ticket templates to individual Attendees.
This guide outlines the steps to allocate customised ticket designs, helping the Event Organisers implement a clear, visually distinct system that improves crowd flow and enhances the Attendee experience.
Creating Multiple Ticket Templates
Ticket templates are managed at the Branch level. To create a new template:
- Navigate to System > Branches.
- Find the relevant Branch and select Actions > Edit.
- Enable Display ticket design per ticket type by switching the option to Yes.
- Scroll down to the Ticket Templates section.
- Click Add to create a new template.
- Enter a Name for the template.
- Upload a PDF of the ticket layout.
- Define the position and size of ticket elements.
- Click Save & Close.
Bulk Updating Ticket Designs by Ticket Type
Tickets are automatically assigned based on existing ticket rules, that are set on the Event Settings. However, Admins can override the default template via the Guest List. To update ticket designs in bulk:
- Go to Events > Guest List.
- Use the column filters to find the relevant Ticket Type.
- Click Change Ticket Design.
- Select the appropriate design and click OK – the new template will be applied.
- Repeat the process for any additional Ticket Types as needed.
