How to Navigate the Events List Page

The Events List Page is designed to help manage and track your events easily. This guide provides an overview of the key elements of the page, including how to use the dashboard, apply filters, access the actions menu, and make use of the various tools that will help manage your events.

Main Page

When you first log into the Events section, you’ll see a list of events with several columns. These columns contain crucial details about each event, and the layout is designed for easy navigation and quick access to event management options.

Here’s a breakdown of the sections you’ll interact with:

  • Dashboard: The main area where events are displayed with their current status.
  • Filters: Help refine the event list to find specific events.
  • Actions Menu: Provides quick access to manage specific events.
  • Tools: Offer additional functionalities such as generating reports, managing guest lists, and viewing seat prices.

Dashboard

The dashboard on the Events List page shows an overview of all the events you’re managing. Each event will have a set of information displayed in rows, including:

  • Event Name: The name or title of the event.
  • Status: Indicates if the event is open, closed, or in any other status.
  • Venue: The location where the event will take place.
  • Auditorium: The specific hall or space within the venue where the event will be held.
  • Event Date: The date and time of the event.
  • Booking Open: When booking for the event opens.
  • Booking Close: When booking for the event closes.

Each event’s row provides an at-a-glance view of the important data, including ticket sales and the event’s overall value.

  • Seats Sold / Total = Value: This section shows the total number of tickets sold versus the total capacity and the monetary value generated from those sales.

Filters

Filters are located at the top of the page and allow you to narrow down the displayed events based on criteria such as:

  • Event Name: Search for specific events.
  • Status: Filter by event status (e.g., open or closed).
  • Venue: Filter by the location or venue of the event.
  • Auditorium: Filter by the specific auditorium within a venue.
  • Booking Open/Close: Filter based on the booking window of the event.

Applying filters makes it easier to find the events you want to manage or monitor.

Actions Menu

The “Actions” menu allows you to perform various tasks related to each event. For each event listed in the dashboard, you can access the menu by clicking on the downward arrow next to the event name. The available actions in the menu include:

  • Edit: Modify event details like name, date, and location.
  • Admin Book: Manually add bookings for guests.
  • Alert List: Set up notifications for event updates.
  • Attendance: Track and manage event attendance.
  • Bookings: View or manage individual event bookings.
  • Invoices: Generate and manage invoices related to the event.
  • Bulk Email: Send bulk emails to attendees or contacts related to the event.
  • Contact: View or manage event contact details.
  • Copy: Create a duplicate of the event for reuse.
  • Guest List: Manage the list of people invited or attending the event.
  • Invite Users: Invite specific users to the event.
  • Quotas: Set or adjust event quotas, such as maximum attendees.
  • Seat Prices: Adjust or view the pricing of tickets for the event.
  • Wait List: Manage a waitlist for overbooked events.
  • Event Ticket Availability Cache: View and manage ticket availability.
  • Delete: Remove the event from the system.

Tools

The following tools can be accessed via the main dashboard and help you manage your events more efficiently:

  • Download: This button allows you to export event details, reports, or booking information.
  • Add: Use this button to create a new event.
  • Clear Filters: If you have applied filters, you can remove them to view all events again.
